I have been helping people for 20+ years by integrating traditional, tried-and-true therapy techniques and strategies that create real results. We can work together to better understand and meet the challenges you are currently experiencing in your life. Integrative, person-centered, insight-oriented therapy can help us discover behavior patterns that may be holding you back from creating the lasting change you are ready to make.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with expertise in depression and mood disorders, anxiety, personal improvement, stress and coping, self-esteem, work and career, and life transitions and life meaning.  In addition, I also have expertise in sleep coaching and sleep therapy and implementing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I).

I use an integrative approach. Some of these therapies will include: acceptance commitment therapy, positive psychology, sleep therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, behavioral activation, dialectical behavioral, and cognitive behavioral therapy. In addition health psychology, the mind-body connection, and holistic psychotherapy will be utilized.

Using these integrative theoretical orientations creates positive change facilitated through the therapeutic process. I create an environment that is safe, caring, calming, and empowering.  With my deep compassion and clarity, my counseling becomes a catalyst for positive change through self-awareness, acceptance, healing, and growth. By identifying obstacles and moving forward, we can introduce healthier patterns and behaviors, which will lead to a more balanced and meaningful life.

Sessions are typically 45-50 minutes long. Homework will be given at each session to help you continue to work on your goals outside of therapy sessions.
