Why is my hybrid approach any different?

I have spent my career creating (20+ years and counting) a proprietary, hybrid approach. This approach is applied to all of my coaching and therapy sessions. The Balanced + Well approach and programs will provide you with research-based, real solutions and help keep you accountable and feel supported. I apply proven psychology modalities and therapy techniques for a modern approach to each coaching or therapy session, creating better outcomes for every client.

This hybrid approach is a proprietary combination of the below methods and practices:

 

Behavioral Activation - creating new, healthy behaviors and then taking action by following through

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - changing our negative thoughts and responding with intention

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy - learn to live in the moment, cope with stress, regulate emotions, and improve relationships with others

Acceptance Commitment Training - accepting flexible thinking

Exposure therapy - taking on new challenges and learning to overcome fears and anxieties by breaking down the pattern of fear and avoidance

Health Psychology - creating healthy patterns through sleep, nutrition and exercise and the mind-body connection

Positive Psychology - incorporating positive thinking and gratitude

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction - creating awareness and learning to take a moment

Solution Based Therapy - finding solutions rather than only looking at problems

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia - working on sleep hygiene and misconceptions about your sleep
